Planner, Yvette Shanahan, has been in love with weddings
ever since she was a little girl. That love grew into a
passion and thus was born “Avant-Garde Wedding and Event
Planning”. With more than 14 years of experience Yvette has
planned hundreds of weddings and events. Her expertise
shines through her customer service and attention to detail.

“Avant-Garde” (new and innovative)? Our service level is
unparalleled. Clients and vendors, alike, comment on our
exceptional customer service saying ‘they haven’t seen
anyone else provide this level of service’. We plan /
coordinate all types of celebrations; eco-chic, themed,
traditional, non-traditional, same-sex, destination and much
more. We only accept a limited number of bookings per year
to ensure undivided attention and quality service to every
couple we work with.
We believe that
weddings are a work in progress. We work with your vision as
it changes and grows into a beautiful expression of who you
